The range of scores that students have attained remains statistically stable, and universities value the rigour and consistency of Diploma Programme assessment practice.<\/p>\n<p>Students take written examinations at the end of the programme\/Grade XII, which are marked by external IB examiners. Students also required to complete defined assessment tasks in the school, which are either initially marked by teachers and then moderated by external moderators or sent directly to external examiners.<\/p>\n<p>The result of a student for the IB Diploma Programme is from a total of 45 grade points that include points awarded for performance in each subject from 1 (lowest) to 7 (highest), and also3 points awarded for the successful completion of the DP Core &#8211; Theory of Knowledge, Extended Essay and Creativity, Activity and Service. A student may secure the highest total of 45 points.
